Asia Cup 2008
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) was formed as the Asian Cricket Conference in 1983. It is the biggest regional cricket council in the world as active. The main aim of the council is to promote and develop the game of cricket within Asia. ACC headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There are 22 members of the ACC.
Three types membership is in ACC. These are Full Membership, Associate Membership and Affiliate Membership. The full members are Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The associate members are Hong Kong, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, Thailand, and United Arab Emirates. The affiliate members are Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bhutan, Brunei, China, Iran, Maldives, Myanmar, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
The glamour event organised by ACC is Asia Cup. The 2008 Asia Cup will be in June - July. six teams participated in the current ninth edition of Asia Cup. It will be in Pakistan.

Santosh Tropy - An overview
Santosh Trophy is an annual football tournament in India. It is contested by states and clubs whchi organized by government institiuons. The tournament started in 1941 and first winners were Bengal. The trophy as named after the late Maharaja Sir Manmatha Nath Roy Chowdhary of Santosh, whchi is now in Bangladesh. He was the presedent of the Indian Football Association, football organization of Bengal.
